Reception in honor of Mrs Françoise Malby-Anthony

On 9 June 2019, the Ambassador of France to South Africa H.E. Christophe Farnaud hosted an evening to celebrate French conservationist Françoise Malby-Anthony’s engagement in preserving wildlife in South Africa.

Françoise Malby-Anthony, along with her late husband, Lawrence Anthony, set up the Thula Thula Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal in 1999 to care for troubled elephants.

She recently won the French Nationals Abroad Award for her book An elephant in my kitchen, which has also been translated into French (Un éléphant dans ma cuisine).
