What is your link with French cuisine ?

The late husband of our guest chef Mrs. Renée Rautenbach-Conradie, Mr. Leo Conradie, served for many years as the Consul General in Marseilles, France. During their time in the diplomatic corps they entertained frequently and gained wide exposure to French cuisine and entertaining styles.

Why did you choose to participate in Good France?

Final year students studying hospitality management at the University of Pretoria are required to manage functions for clients as part of our Culinary Arts program, under the guidance of Mr Hennie Fisher. We have decided to participate in Good France this year – acting as a French bistro restaurant for the evening of 22 March - with the assistance of our guest chef Mrs Rautenbach-Conradie to expose ourselves to French cuisine and culture.
