Of all the students who responded to the French Embassy, Johannes Coetzee got the best grade in French.
On Friday 9 September 2016, Ambassador of France to South Africa HE Elisabeth Barbier visited Pretoria Boys High School to hand over a gift hamper of books to Johannes Coetzee, a former pupil who obtained 98% for French in Grade 12 last year. As Johannes loves cooking, one of the book he received was a French recipe book.
In her speech, Ambassador Barbier said: “Today, it is my pleasure to reward Mr Coetzee for his dedication, hard work and outstanding results obtained in matric in the French Discipline”.
