Francophonie Festival 2015
Southern Africa Director of Alliance Française, Jean Bourdin, speaks to SABC’s Morning Live about the annual Francophonie Festival.
Held in March every year, the festival is a series concerts, screenings, exhibitions, workshops and performances from Johannesburg to Cape Town, Port Elizabeth to Pretoria, and Durban to East London.
The festival is intended to celebrate the international and linguistic community that share French - either as a native or a second language - that is referred to by the coined term "La Francophonie".
