International conference on Observatories of the Critical Zone in Africa : current issues and findings

AMMA-CATCH observatory organizes an international conference in Niamey, Niger, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. The event will take place on November 12 – 14, 2018.
Proposal submission deadline : July 13, 2018

AMMA-CATCH is a French national observation service (SNO) dedicated to long-term monitoring of climatological, hydrological and ecological changes in West Africa.
On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, AMMA-CATCH organizes an international conference in Niamey, Niger, on November 12-14, 2018.
The expected participants are researchers, teacher-researchers, doctoral students and decision-makers.

Three sesions will take place at this conference :

  • Long-term observation systems in Africa
  • Observations to understand and predict environmental processes and major climate cycles (in situ and remote sensing data).
  • What applications for development policies and training ?

Abstract submissions are to be made online in French or English on AMMA-CATCH website.
The call for proposals (oral or poster) is open until July 13, 2018.
