Le Movie Club: ’Hope’
Le Movie Clud, the French film rendez-vous, is back with ’Hope’ by Boris Lojkine (2013, 1h26)
Léonard is running away from Cameroon while Hope leaves Nigeria. After meeting by coincidence while crossing Sahara desert, they both have to face injustice, racism and violence once they arrive in Morocco.
The film will be screened at The Bioscope Independent Cinema in Johannesburg on Tuesday 25 April 2017 at 7.30pm. Due to Freedom Day, the screening won’t take place on the last Thursday of April but on Tuesday 25 April.
