Science and innovation committed to a better future: The South African – French partnership at the forefront

The effects of scientific advances and innovation on societies in South Africa and France will come under the spotlight at the first French – South African Science and Innovation Days in Pretoria, 2 – 3 December 2019.

The event aims to strengthen and promote cooperation in research, training and innovation, especially in light of the ongoing socio-economic challenges in South Africa.

The various stakeholders will be able to discuss opportunities, share ideas and learn about the available tools in the different fields of science and innovation.

Four different sessions will focus on topics ranging from the environment, water, health, technology and sustainable development.

-  Session 1 “Transformation of the Society: bridging the skills gap”
-  Session 2 “Inclusivity: from bench to market”
-  Session 3 “Research transcending borders in Africa”
-  Session 4 “Science for Sustainable Development”
