France condemns the two attacks for which the Shabab terrorist group has claimed responsibility and which left a total of almost 40 people dead on February 26 in Mogadishu and on February 28 in Baidoa.
We extend our condolences to the victims’ families as well as to the Somali government. The perpetrators of these heinous acts must be brought to justice.
France, together with the European Union, supports the action of the Somali authorities and the United Nations mission in Somalia in their efforts to restore security and stability in the country.
