The French Embassy congratulates the winners of the Cap40 awards
On December 2 2016, Ms Charlotte Montel, Chargée d’Affaires a.i. at the French Embassy in South Africa, attended the fourth annual Cap40 Business Awards ceremony in Cape Town.
The Deputy Mayor of Cape Town, Alderman Ian Neilson also attended the ceremony.
This Awards ceremony was organised by Cap40, a business association which aims at promoting economic development and cooperation between France and the Western Cape Province.
Five French companies and individuals have been rewarded for their dynamic and innovative contribution to the French-South African business landscape in Cape Town. The awards were handed during a gala ceremony held at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel on the Waterfront.
The finalists were awarded prizes in five different categories:
Best Speaker of the year: Jerome Touze - WAYN
Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Aminata Ndyaye - Ikhaya Mossi
The « goût de France » Award: Franck Dangereux - The Food Barn
The Trade & Investment Award: Romain Sormani - Total Energies Nouvelles
French Tech Initiative: Tuskan Owen-Thomas - Yethu
